Our Customer Charter

Kitchen Science aims to offer you high quality domestic appliances, expert advice and support at the lowest possible price.

  • Expert delivery - Your products will be delivered either direct from the manufacturer or from our distribution centre, ensuring that it is in expert hands and limits unnecessary movement of your new product.
  • The right product for you - Our Buying Guide section will help you to make sure you select the right product for you and your kitchen.

All of our Kitchen Specialists are appliance experts and have received accredited training from all of our manufacturers.

Our Delivery Advice

Kitchen Science aims to deliver your products right first time, every time. To help ensure that your product is delivered successfully please check the following information and advice:

  • Please provide us with the phone number where you will be contactable on the delivery day. A mobile phone number plus an alternative number is best.
  • Check the dimensions of the product you plan to purchase to ensure that it fits in the space/unit where you plan to put it.
  • Make sure you have the relevant services to which your appliance needs connecting (see our Buying Guide for further information.
  • Make sure you advise us in advance of anything that may affect your delivery such as restricted parking, difficult access, stairs etc.
  • That there is clear access for the delivery vehicle.
  • That there is a clear access and a route through your home to where you want the product placed. Try walking the path that the delivery team will take when delivering your product.
  • That you check your new appliance is the correct model and colour.
  • That you check your new product for any damage & that all accessories are included where possible before the delivery team leave. You do however have 7 days to notify us if this is not possible at the time.
  • Any discrepancies should be noted on the delivery paperwork.
  • Please ensure that you read the manufacturers installation and instruction book before you use your new product.

Our Returns Policy

At Kitchen Science we want to make sure that you are always happy with your appliance. In the unlikely event of any damage or a fault with your new product, the manufacturer will deal with this immediately.

  • Under distance selling regulations you are entitled to return any unused product/s within 7 days (starting the day after your product is delivered) for whatever reason.
  • If you decide to return a product to us then you need to let us know, in writing, either by email, fax or letter, within this time period.
  • To enable you to do this you must not have used the product and return it in the same condition in which it was delivered.
  • There are some charges associated with this so please ensure you read the Returns & Cancellation sections of our Terms & Conditions.

Our Repair Service

  • All products purchased from Kitchen Science are covered by a manufacturer’s guarantee and are repaired by the manufacturer’s experts.
  • Manufacturer’s guarantees are generally for 1 or 2 years and will cover all parts and labour for any fault that may occur.
  • It will not however cover you for damage (apart from damage notified at point of delivery) or misuse.
  • You should always read the manufacturer’s instruction book before using your new product.
  • The manufacturer may charge for any call outs where no fault is found with the appliance or where the manufacturer’s instructions for set up or use have not been followed.
