Filter taps Filters are designed to remove any undesirable contaminates such as chlorine and sediment to improve the taste, smell an d overall appearance of the water without removing the benef icial minerals. It is like having your own personal filtered bottle water on tap saving up to 35p a litre against bottle water and also improve the taste of tea and coffee.
Brushed steel Tap finish Choose the finish of your tap such as polished or brushed to suit your kitchen and the look of your sink.
Quarter turn Turn operation Determines what type of valve it is used to control the flow of water. Quarter turn is considered to be easier to use.
Compression valve The compression valve is the original valve design, the valv e must be turned many times to allow the water to pass throu gh it, this valve as a rubber seal at the base which wears ( this is when taps start leaking). The rubber seal may expand and contract with large volumes of hot water, this valve is not well suited to pressurised water system.
